Building a Journaling Habit
To get the most benefit from journaling, consistency is key. Here are some tips to help you build a sustainable habit:
Start Small
Begin with just 2-3 minutes of writing each day. You can always write more, but starting small makes it easier to maintain consistency.
Pick a Regular Time
Whether it's first thing in the morning or before bed, choose a time that works with your routine and stick to it.
Use Reminders
Set up gentle notifications in the app to remind you to journal. You can adjust the frequency and timing as needed.
Be Patient
It takes time to see the full benefits of journaling. Give yourself at least 2-3 weeks to establish the habit.
Common Questions
How long should my entries be?
There's no minimum or maximum length. Some days you might write a paragraph, other days just a sentence. The important thing is consistency, not length.
What should I write about?
Write about anything that's on your mind - your feelings, experiences, goals, challenges, or things you're grateful for. Use our prompts if you need inspiration.
Can others see my journal entries?
No, your entries are completely private. We use end-to-end encryption to ensure only you can read your journal.
